Injectables are becoming increasingly popular as patients are really starting to appreciate their efficacy and simplicity.
What are the Different Types of Injectable Neurotoxins?
Derrow Dermatology offers the following injectables to men and women who hope to resolve age-related wrinkles and restore a youthful appearance.
When most people think of injectables, they think of Botox because it’s the original neurotoxin and has been used to reduce wrinkles since the 1980s. If you have moderate to severe lines between your eyebrows, crow’s feet, and/or forehead wrinkles, you could benefit from Botox. With Botox, you can enjoy results that last up to 3 to 4 months.
Dysport is an injectable that’s known for its speed. While it’s similar to Botox, it’s manufactured a bit differently and a great option for reducing forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet. It differs from Botox in that it can deliver results in as little as 24 hours.
Xeomin is like Botox and Dysport but is only made of one ingredient and less likely to cause antibodies, which can limit the effects of treatment over time. It typically takes 4 days for results to appear with Xeomin.
Jeuveau is the newest injectable in our lineup and known as #Newtox because it’s a great alternative to Botox. It has been proven to deliver smoother, longer lasting results and usually takes 2-3 days to deliver noticeable results.
